Mitsubishi plans to unveil the new electric Eclipse Cross in September 2025
An electric successor to the Mitusbishi Eclipse Cross is in the works and is expected to be officially unveiled in September.
Mitsubishi is planning a new, all-electric Eclipse Cross for Germany. The electric SUV in the C-segment is to be officially presented in September 2025.

The market launch is then scheduled to take place by the end of 2025. Mitsubishi is thus expanding its European model range in the important C-segment.
New Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross EV to be unveiled in September 2025
At the same time as the announcement of the presentation, the Japanese manufacturer has published the first teaser images. However, these are still quite meaningless, as they actually only show the model lettering. We will probably get more details at the presentation or shortly before.

The upcoming presentation of the electric Eclipse Cross is the first electric car that Mitsubishi has also brought to the European market since 2010. Mitsubishi is still keeping a low profile on the details of the new model and so far we only know that there will be two battery variants and also a modern infotainment system with Google integration.
Schwestermodell des Renault Scenic E-Tech?

The Eclipse Cross is built in France and thus the probability is high that the new Mitsubishi will be a sister model of the Renault Scenic. If this is true, the Eclipse Cross should be about 4.4 meters long and come with two configurations: 125 kW of power with a 60 kWh battery or 160 kW of power with an 87 kWh battery. In terms of range, up to 598 km should be possible.
As soon as we have more information about the Eclipse Cross EV, we will of course keep you posted.
